Golden Drum Fish is already a highly distinctive fish species, known for its delicate texture, rich flavour, and uniquely aromatic freshness. Mr. Yeung’s Golden Drum stands out even further with exceptional sweetness, richness, and natural oiliness, delivering remarkable depth of flavour in every bite.

To be honest, I do not usually eat freshwater fish. But Mr. Yeung’s Golden Drum is one fish I make sure to order every year. Over the years, it has always been one of the highlights at fisheries association spring banquets, earning endless praise from everyone who tastes it. To me, it truly deserves the title of:

“The King of Brackish Water Farmed Fish” 👑

Do not underestimate a Golden Drum weighing around 1 catty (~600g). This fish grows extremely slowly and is notoriously difficult to raise. From fry to market size, it often takes nearly 4 years. The farming process involves significant risk, time, and feed costs, making every fish incredibly valuable.

I have always believed that there are very few people in Hong Kong who truly understand fish farming and raise fish with genuine dedication. Mr. Yeung is undoubtedly one of them. I have complete confidence in the quality of his fish.

This offering will be available through a limited pre-order model.
We will reserve fish directly from Mr. Yeung based strictly on customer orders, with no extra inventory held. Once received, our team will handle every fish with our usual high standards:
